Dear Editor,
The United States has the highest overdose and drug related death rates in the world. More than 100,000 Americans die annually because of drugs (mostly fentanyl) due to our unsecured border thanks to Biden. This is more than all the gun and distracted driving deaths but few voice the same concern.
Regarding firearm-related death rate in the world: Venezuela has the highest. El Salvadore and Jamaica have the next highest rates (Source: Statista & Wikipedia).
There is no such thing as ‘common sense’ gun laws as criminals and mentally deranged always find a way to obtain guns AND factually, no one can legislate laws regulating morality or mental disease.
