PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING FOR PROPOSED PROJECT PLAN
The City of Imlay City will hold a public meeting for the purpose of receiving comments from interested persons for the proposed project plan included in the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program.
The purpose of the DWSRF project is to make improvements to the water distribution system including new and replacement of the existing watermains on Fourth Street from Main Street to Blacks Corners Road, S. Almont Avenue from Titus Street to E. First Street and W. First Street to Depot Drive and replacing all known lead or galvanized water services throughout the system.
The projected overall budget for this project is $9,440,000.
A copy of the project plan for the DWSRF project is available for review at the following location(s): City of Imlay City, City Hall; 150 North Main Street, Imlay City, MI 48444.
A public information meeting regarding the water system improvements will be held at 7:00 p.m. on May 2, 2023, at the City of Imlay City, City Hall, 150 North Main Street, Imlay City, MI. This meeting will be a public informational meeting where information on the proposed project will be presented, and the city will take any public comments or concerns. Any comments regarding this application can be submitted in writing, prior to May 2, 2023, to:
