Almont’s Laila Evola looks to move up in the pack Friday at the Marlette Invite.

TRI-CITY AREA — The Almont, Dryden and Capac girls’ track squads earned respective finishes of second, third and 13th last Friday at the Marlette Invitational.

Reese (120 points) paced the field assembled. They were followed by Almont (88.33 points), Dryden (81), Marlette (80.66), Unionville Sebewaing (64), Brown City (44.5), Bad Axe (43), Cass City (31), Laker (21.5), Harbor Beach (21), Capac (15) and Vassar (four).

Devin Johnston, 100 (12.52 seconds) along with the 200 (26.31) and 400 (1:01.19) dashes; led Almont with three individual event firsts.

Madison Niedermaier, pole vault, 7 feet 6 inches; contributed an individual event second for Almont.

The Almont 400-meter relay of Chloe Brady, Montserrat Coronel, Christy Trisler and Jacqueline Coronel took second as well. They were timed in 55.71 seconds

Ava Panduren, 100 dash, 13.2 seconds, provided Almont with a third.

The Almont 800-meter relay of Lauren Webster, Montserrat Coronel, Jacqueline Coronel and Brady placed third as well. They were timed in 2:00.83.

Isabella Giannetti, pole vault, 7 feet 6 inches; and Laila Evola, 3200 run, 14:16.12; gave Almont fourths.

The Almont 3200 relay of Jenna Kline, Ayla Delaurier, Haley Dempz and Evola took fourth as well. They were timed in 11:57.0

Brady, 100 (19.009 seconds) and 300-meter (57.07 seconds) hurdles; collected Almont’s fifths.

The Almont 1600 relay of Lauren Webster, Montserrat Coronel, Jacqueline Coronel and Dempz were fifth as well. They were timed in 4:52.32.

Montserrat Coronel, long jump, 13 feet 11 1/4 inches; furnished Almont with a sixth.

Isabella Irwin, high jump, 4 feet 4 inches; added an eighth to Almont’s cause.

Sophia Peter, 300-meter hurdles, 51.03 seconds; paced Dryden with a first.

The 400 (Keira Miller, Caila Fitchett, Lucia Munoz Rodriguez and Delaney Wolle) and 800 and (Olivia Stickler, Peter, Wolle and Miller) and 1600 (Wolle, Peter, Miller and Stickler) relays also prevailed. They logged respective times of 55.46 seconds 1:53.47 and 4:27.98 en route.

Stickler, 100 (13.05 seconds) and 400-meter (1:03.33) dashes; provided Dryden with seconds.

Addie Tresnak, shot put, 29 feet 10 inches; and Lily Finnigan, discus, 78 feet 11 inches; managed Dryden’s fourths.

Wolle, 200 dash, 29.07 seconds; gave Dryden a fifth.

Cara Prusakiewicz, 3200-meter run, 14:25.27; furnished Dryden with a sixth.

Munoz Rodriguez, 400 dash, 1:10.2; and Finnigan, 3200-meter run, 14:29.39; added sevenths to Dryden’s cause.

Gracie Klink, high jump, 5 feet 2 inches; led Capac with a second.

Capac also received a third from Klink, 200 dash, 28.85 seconds.
