TRI-CITY AREA — Capac downed host Dryden, 15-0 and 16-0, in a non-league varsity softball doubleheader last Friday.

Madalyn Roberson (a single and a triple), Julia Schaefer (two singles), Skielar Tesnow (a home run), Nevaeh Mason and Robin Owens (a single each) provided Capac’s basehits during game one.

Roberson was the winning Capac pitcher. She threw a perfect game over three innings, registering nine strikeouts along the way.

Tesnow (a single and a triple), Annabelle Schneider (two singles), plus Christina Howard and Jewel Rickman (a single apiece) collected Capac’s basehits during game two.

Mason was Capac’s pitcher of record. She gave up four hits over three innings, struck out seven and walked none.

Madison Maday (a pair of singles) along with Lauren Abromaitis and Arianna Lavalla (a single each) contributed Dryden’s basehits.

With the outcome, Capac improves to 8-0 overall. Dryden slips to 0-4 this season.
