ORDINANCE NO. 72
AMENDMENT OF ALMONT TOWNSHIP ZONING ORDINANCE
AN ORDINANCE amending the Township of Almont’s Zoning Ordinance, being Ordinance
No. 39-22, of the Almont Township Ordinances, as amended, rezoning Parcel ID No. 24-001-009-031-07 from AR (Agricultural Residential) to I (Industrial), revising the Zoning Map to reflect the rezoning, and repealing any and all Ordinances and/or Resolutions in conflict therewith.
THE TOWNSHIP BOARD OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ALMONT, LAPEER COUNTY, MICHIGAN, ORDAINS:
SECTION 1 – AMENDMENTS
The Zoning Map of the Township of Almont previously adopted and declared to be a part of the Zoning Ordinance shall be further amended as follows:
Parcel ID No. 001-009-031-07, commonly known as vacant 25.712 acre parcel bordering on both Van Dyke and Dryden Roads, shall be rezoned from AR (Agricultural Residential) to
SECTION 2. REPEAL OF CONFLICTING PROVISIONS
All resolutions, ordinances or parts thereof in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY
If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional, the invalidity or unconstitutionality of such section, paragraph, clause or provision shall not affect any of the remaining provisions of this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. PUBLICATION
This Ordinance or a summary of this Ordinance shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the Township of Almont, within fifteen (15) days after its adoption.
SECTION 5. EFFECTIVE DATE
This Ordinance shall take effect seven (7) days after publication as set forth in Section 4.
