IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City girls’ soccer team wound up on the losing side of an 8-2 verdict to visiting Yale in a Blue Water Area Conference meeting Monday afternoon.

With the result, Imlay City slips to 1-2 this season and 0-2 as far as Blue Water Area Conference clashes are concerned.

In Monday’s meeting, Yale took a 2-0 edge at the half.

Yale then outscored Imlay City 6-2 the rest of the way, assuring themselves of an 8-2 win.

Jessica Peters had both of Imlay City’s goals that day.

Wren Dennis and Jazmyne Lane provided Imlay City’s assists.

Alycia Robertson added four saves in her role as Imlay City’s goalkeeper that day.
