Popular Chamber Auction is Saturday in Lum

ATTICA — Bargain hunters, friends and neighbors get ready for a lively night of fun and great deals as the popular Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce Auction returns to Castle Creek Golf Course this Saturday, April 15.

Imlay City Area Chamber of Commerce Director Chris Bishop surrounded by just some of the items that are up for grabs at the annual Chamber Auction on Sat., April 15 at Castle Creek Golf Club.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Early birds can begin bidding on the silent auction items right away. The live auction starts at 6 p.m. Admission is free, and all guests will receive one free beverage ticket.

Chamber Director Chris Bishop says the annual auction is a major fundraiser for the Chamber, and helps the organization promote local businesses, commerce, and community events like the Summer Fest and Winter Playground.

“It’s always a fun night for family and friends, and there are a lot of great things up for grabs,” she says.

Among those great things are Michigan made items, artwork, a pheasant hunt, a 58” TV, Dyson vacuum, Blackstone grill, and a lottery ticket tree featuring dozens of scratch off tickets. Gift baskets, liquor, mulch, gift certificates for goods and services and of course Vlasic pickles are also on the bidding block.

The event features a 50/50 raffle, cash bar, and tacos—two for just $5—throughout the evening.

As always, Rowley Auctions will keep the action lively and entertaining throughout the night as the bids roll in.

“Please join us for an evening of fun, drinks, and bidding to support community businesses and events,” Bishop says.

Castle Creek Golf Club is located at 5191 Lum Road in Attica.
