ALMONT — Molly Kline, a 2022 graduate of Almont High School, competed for the Lawrence Tech University women’s track team at the Jim Vargo Invitational recently.
The meet was contested Friday, March 17 at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
Kline, a freshman, pulled up fifth in the 5,000-meter run. It took her 21:11.1 to accomplish the feat.
Cumberlands (140 points) won the team title. They were followed by Bellarmine (117 points), Seton Hill (102), Trevecca Nazarene (53), Midway (51), Southern Indiana (41), Capital (32), Evansville (29), Spalding (28), Lawrence Tech (16) and Morehead State (five).
