Nancy Lee, age 91, of Lapeer, MI died Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Serene Gardens Assisted Living of Imlay City, MI. Nancy Anne Jahn was born December 28, 1931 in Ann Arbor, MI. She was the daughter of the late Henry and the late Vivia (Thomas) Jahn. Nancy grew up in Imlay City, MI. She was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1949. After high school, Nancy took some college courses. She married Robert “Bob” Lee on June 9, 1950 at the First Congregational Church in Imlay City, MI. Nancy and Bob lived in Imlay City. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob, on September 8, 1973. Nancy moved to Lapeer, MI in 1975.
She was employed as a Resident Record Clerk by Oakdale Regional Development Center in Lapeer, MI before her retirement.
Nancy loved to watch her grandchildren’s sporting events, the theatre, movies, reading and traveling throughout the United States and Europe. She was very interested in current events and politics.
She is survived by her daughter, Marlene (Eugene) Bruns; sons, Kenneth (Pam) Lee and John (Lisa) Lee; her sister, Marlene Johnson; and her brother-in law, Ken (Arlene) Lee. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Bret (Nicole) Davis, Christie (Dale) Campbell, Lisa (Jim) Smith, Lori (Lowell) Fail, Brian (Kellynn) Bruns, Kevin Bruns, Jessica (Adam) Artress, and Caila (Greg) Saunders; great-grandchildren, Wylee, Wyatt, Taylor, Colton, Heath, Kyle, Jordyn, Carsyn, Austin, Haley and Saige; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Lee; parents, Henry and Vivia Jahn; her infant brother, William Jahn; grandsons, Jeff McInally and Keith Bruns; brothers-in-law, Francis Johnson and Jim (Jessie) Lee; and her nephews, Jim Johnson and Jim Williams.
A memorial is being planned for a later date.

Arrangements for Nancy’s cremation were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
