DRYDEN — Dryden registered a 76-37 triumph against visiting Mayville in a North Central Thumb League varsity boys’ basketball meeting last Friday night.

With the decision, Dryden moves to 13-8 and 8-2. Mayville slips to 11-11 and 2-8.

In Friday’s meeting, Dryden charged out to a 26-9 advantage after one quarter was over with and widened the gap to 46-16 at halftime.

Dryden then outscored Mayville 30-21 from that point on, good for a 76-37 triumph at night’s end.

Jacob Burgess (18, including three trifectas), Sonny Coscione (14), Jaylin Taylor (12) and Dylan Ledford (11, featuring a trey) led Dryden with double digit point totals. The Cardinals also had Owen Gall (nine points, featuring three triples), Dorian Lewis (seven, including a trifecta), Noah Slagle (three) and Hayden Blair (two) reach the scoring column.
