IMLAY CITY — Imlay City absorbed a 64-51 loss to visiting Cros-Lex in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity boys’ basketball contest last Friday night.
With the decision, Cros-Lex moves to 13-3 and 9-1. Imlay City drops to 7-9 and 5-4.
In Friday’s contest, Imlay City spotted Cros-Lex a 14-9 edge after one quarter was over with.
The middle two quarters saw Cros-Lex amass 28 total points and Imlay City generate 23. That left them up 42-32 with 24 minutes gone.
Cros-Lex then outscored Imlay City 22-19 from that point on, finishing off a 64-51 victory.
Beau Hund paced Imlay City with 20 points. The Spartans also had Zander Nash (11 points), JD Trout (10), Matt Evans (six) and Greg Pawlacyzk (four) reach the scoring column.
