2023 INFRASTRUCTURE IMPROVEMENTS
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the 4th Street Pavement Improvements, Newark Road Pump Station Rehabilitation and Sanitary Sewer CIPP Lining Community Development Block Grant Project will be received, by City of Imlay City at the office of the City of Imlay City, 150 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI 48444 until 10:00 a.m. local time on March 06, 2023 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of reconstructing Fourth Street including: sanitary sewer, drinking water, storm sewer, sidewalk, curb and gutter, drive approaches, and HMA paving, along with installing sanitary sewer along M-53 to connect to existing sanitary sewer interceptor. The project also includes miscellaneous sanitary sewer work along M-53 from Third to Fourth Street, upgrading the Newark Road Sanitary Sewer Pump Station, and CIPP Rehabilitation of the existing sanitary sewer interceptor.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on February 15, 2023 at Imlay City Hall, 150 N. Main St., Imlay City MI.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by certified check or bidder’s bond in the amount of 5% of the bid. Checks shall be drawn payable to CITY OF IMLAY CITY as security for the acceptance of the Contract and subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner reserves the right to waive informality in any bid, to reject any or all bids, or accept any bid which is considered most favorable to the Owner.

All addendums will also be posted to this website. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring all addendums have been received and acknowledged prior to submittal of the bid. No paper copies of these documents will be available for purchase.
