ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Cedar Street Sidewalk
Sealed Bids for Cedar Street Sidewalk will be received at the office of Imlay City until 10:00 a.m. local time, on February 28, 2023, by the office of the City Clerk located at 150 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI 48444. The approximate quantities of major items of work involved are as follows:
Approximately 860 feet of 5-foot concrete sidewalk from First Street to Third Street along Cedar Street (M-53/Van Dyke). The project will include one road crossing, one driveway crossing, as well as a section underneath Grand Trunk Western Railroad.
Digital copies thereof may be obtained on or after 2:00 p.m., local time, January 31, 2023, from the online plan room section of the website of the ENGINEER, www.ohm-advisors.com. A digital download fee may apply.
Copies thereof may be obtained on or after 2:00 p.m., local time, January 31, 2023, at the office of the ENGINEER, Orchard, Hiltz & McCliment, Inc., 34000 Plymouth Road, Livonia, MI 48150. A fee of Fifty-five dollars ($55.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents. An additional fee of Fifteen dollars ($15.00) non-refundable will be charged for each set of Contract Documents which are mailed.
Bid Security in the form of a Certified or Cashier’s Check or Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid.
The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids.
No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids.
No pre-bid meetings are scheduled for this project.
