GOODLAND TWP. — Goodland Township is seeking financial support from local residents and businesses for the purpose of raising funds to restore the old Flansburgh school house.

Goodland Township officials hope to rehabilitate the 150-year-old structure to serve as the future home of the township’s historical society and museum.

Township Clerk Mavis Roy is proposing that all local businesses purchase 50 or more $10 discount cards to randomly pass out for customer appreciation and/or to give them to their employees.

For further information or to make a donation toward the old school’s restoration, contact Mavis Roy at 810-724-0169. Those wishing to include their business on the discount cards, call Steve Kuschel at 810-300-7385.
