DRYDEN — Dryden obtained a 57-48 win against visiting Peck in a North Central Thumb League varsity boys’ basketball contest on Tuesday, January 24.
With the final, Dryden moves to 7-5 and 4-1. Peck slips to 7-4 and 4-2.
In Tuesday’s contest, Peck grabbed a 12-11 edge after one quarter was over with.
The middle two quarters saw Dryden manage 29 total points and Peck generate 18, leaving the former up 40-30 with 24 minutes gone.
Peck then outscored Dryden 18-17 the rest of the way, only to drop a 57-48 verdict.
Jacob Burgess (18), plus Dylan Ledford and Jaylin Taylor (15 each) led Dryden with double digit point totals. They were backed by Sonny Coscione (five points) and Dorian Lewis (four).
