Suzanne Lee Irish-Black, 60, upon Tuesday, January 10, 2023 a woman of grace, strength, and incredible willpower passed away in the comfort of her home surrounded by friends, family, and the love of her life, Bryan. Suzanne was born November 5, 1962 to Eileen (Pincket) and Dean Irish in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI.

Suzanne over the years flourished in the riding stables where she competed in Hunter Jumper horse competitions and rode English style shows with her Thornwood Girls. Suzanne had a great passion for her horses, Brandy, JB, Gloria, Faila, Dabbler and Marble. They remained in her heart so much so that she continued to share her equine knowledge and teaching to many students over the years.

Suzanne and Bryan Black married on Harsens Island on October 8, 1988. From there, they turned a house into a home in Capac, MI where she had exquisite gardens that had her full dedication. After working at Stellar Engineering and having her son she began working at Capac Elementary School where she remained for 25 years working as a ParaPro before retiring. Suzanne loved seeing all the children in the community grow into adults and seeing them each start their own families. She was involved with organizing the yearly Christmas Jubilee at the schools and coaching the equestrian team.

Suzanne had passions that were shown to the community as her gardens came into bloom every year, spending endless hours with friends and family planning out her dreams to make them into her vision of perfection. When she was not getting her feet wet in the dirt, her feet where in the sand of any beach as she searched for sea glass and trinkets to add to her beach collections.

In addition to her husband Bryan of 34 years; she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Emily Irish-Black; her mother, Eileen Irish; siblings, Jill (Michael) Hutchins and Lynn Irish (Rick Marsh); niece, Kelly (Jeremy) Warner with their children Ethan and Elliot; niece, Amy (Joseph) Pardo and sons Aidan and Dean; sisters-in-law, Carrie Black, Allison (Sean), Glenn (Joann) Black and their daughters Lauren and Alexandra; as well as her best friends Kurt and Missy Hochstein.

Preceding Suzanne in death was her father, Dean Irish; her childhood friend, Stephanie; her father and mother-in-law, Alex and Joyce Black; along with her grandparents.
