NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF
AMENDMENT OF THE GOODLAND
TOWNSHIP SIGN ORDINANCE
On December 20, 2022, the Township Board of the Township of Goodland, Lapeer County, Michigan adopted an Amendment of the Goodland Township Sign Ordinance amending the provisions regarding the square footage of on-site signs, adding provisions regarding electronic and digital signs, and repealing any and all Ordinances and/or Resolutions in conflict therewith.
Specifically, the Ordinance Amendment addressed the following:
Section 1.2
Section 3.02 of the Sign Ordinance was modified to provide that principal on-site signs shall not exceed fifty (50) square feet in sign area.
Section 1.2
Section 3.05 of the Sign Ordinance was amended to specifically permit electronic/digital signs on site and set forth specific regulations with respect to electronic/digital signs.
The Ordinance Amendment shall become effective thirty (30) days after the date of this publication. A copy of the Sign Ordinance Amendment may be purchased or inspected during regular business hours at the Goodland Township Clerk’s Office located at 2374 N. Van Dyke, Imlay City, Michigan. A copy of the Amendment is also available for inspection on the Goodland Township website at www.goodlandtownship.org.
