William Scott Cutcher of Capac passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the age of 86.
Bill was born on August 30, 1936 in Trafford, PA. He was the son of Edward and Alma (nee Campbell) Cutcher. On December 11, 1954, he married Patricia Pype at St. Mary Mystical Rose Catholic Church in Armada. Bill worked as a tool and dye maker for Hamill’s in Romeo for 20 years; then moved to Ford Motor Company to finish his working career, retiring after 20 years of service there. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger years. Bill could often be found in his woodshop, on the fairway striving for a hole in one or pressing his luck at the casino. He loved spending time with his family and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Scott (Kathy) Cutcher, Cheryl Cutcher, Tammy Cutcher and Lori (Darrell) Ball; grandchildren, Kelly (Derek) Stine, Erin (Justin) Whitehead, Megan (Heather) Jordan-Cutcher, Michael (Nicole) Jurkiewicz, Dan (Heidi) Soule, Ronnie (Brittany) Soule, Jacob (Katelyn) Soule, Shayna (Ethan) Mayer, Darcie (Anthony) Closurdo and Dayna (Joey) Lesniak; great-grandchildren, Reis, Macie, Calvin, Claire, Dylan, Ava, Julia, Isabella, Ariana, Cecilia, Carter, Cami, Caspian, Chloe and Delilah; sisters, Elizabeth (Bob) Burgess and Delores (Frank) VanPoelvoorde; brother-in-law, Richard Pype; sisters-in-law, Charlene Pype and Nannette Pype; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Cutcher, MD; brothers-in-law, Remi Pype and Roger Pype; sisters-in-law, Karen Pype and Joanne Pype; and parents.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Rosary at Tiffany-Young & Hauss Funeral Home, Modetz Chapel, 73919 Fulton Street, Armada. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 10 a.m. with instate at 9 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist, 883 Capac Road, Allenton. Burial will take place in West Berlin Cemetery, Berlin Township.
