Roberto “Bobby” Perales – dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many passed away peacefully on November 25, 2022, at the age of 70, after a short illness. Bobby left his earthly body surrounded by love from his wife, children and loved ones.
Bobby was born April 2, 1952, in Detroit, MI to Roberto and Sarah (Rendon) Villa. His family moved to Imlay City, MI when he was a young boy. Bobby enjoyed gardening, taking long drives with his wife Janie, playing cards, camping, and spending time with his family. Bobby loved listening to Mexican music and was proud to show off his extensive collection. Bobby was an excellent cook. His Menudo and famous potato salad was always a highlight at family reunions and get-togethers. Bobby always had a smile on his face, a memorable laugh, and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Everyone who knew Bobby felt his big heart and giving nature.
Bobby is survived by his wife, Juanita “Jane” Perales; children, Jefferey (Kelly) of Hershey, PA, Greg (Julie) of Chelsey, MI, Bryan (Laura) of Marlette, MI, Marie (James) Sutphin of Imlay City, MI, Michael (Becky) of Bath, MI, David (Laura) of Honolulu, HI, Steven of Sandusky, MI, Antonio (Jennifer) of Imlay City, MI, Carlos of Imlay City, MI, Victoria of Imlay City, MI, Constance (Kim) of Brown City, MI; many, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sisters, Rita (Dan) Gedert of Decker, MI, Mary (late John) Contreras of Texas, Sarah Villa of Columbus, OH, Yvonne (Mark) Palawooda of Warren, MI; and brothers, Albert (Laura) Villa of Port Huron, MI, Robert Villa of Alabama, and Daniel Villa of Imlay City, MI.
In addition to his parents; Bobby is predeceased by his brother Lewis and wife June Perales; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Esther and Victor Guerrero.
Bobby had chosen to be cremated and forgo a funeral service. A Celebration of his wonderful Life will be held at a later date.
