REGULAR MEETING
SEPTEMBER 20, 2022
SYNOPSIS
President Schneider called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Councilmembers present were Aleck, Calka, Dyke, Feldman, Glasser, Steffler and Schneider. Staff members present were Village Manager David Trent, Clerk/Treasurer Kimberly Keesler, Chief of Police Andrew Martin and WWTP Superintendent Clinton Farley.
Approved the agenda; approved the consent agenda; approved Ordinance #155.3-Fire Prevention Code Ordinance, as presented; approved the purchase of a return activated sludge flow meter in the amount of $6,870; approved the purchase of an EQ Flow Meter for the price of $12,650; approved the $28,450 purchase, with an amount not to exceed 10% over ($2,825) for the installation of the above ground storage tank and underground storage tank removal with the Oscar Larson Company, contingent upon installing a cement pad, verifying building code of the location of the new above ground tank, the removal of fuel remaining in the existing tank and the validity of the quote dated July 28, 2022; approved the quote from Goyette Mechanical in the amount of $29,997 for the HVAC system replacement at the Wastewater Treatment Plant and approve an additional $3,000 for any contingency issues if necessary; approved the first amendment to David Trent’s Employment Agreement, as presented; consensus of Council to add 7192 General Squire to the regular agenda of the next meeting and have DPW Superintendent Bryan Treat attend.
