Paul Boleau, age 67, of Imlay City, MI died Sunday, October 16, 2022 at McLaren Flint, MI. Paul Arthur Boleau was born March 7, 1955 in Wakefield, MI. He was the son of the late Ruben Boleau, the late Esther (Spencer) Boleau-Swanson and his stepfather, Arn Swanson. Paul grew up in Wakefield, MI in the Upper Peninsula. He was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1973. Paul proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He moved to Washington Township in 1977 before moving to the Imlay City area 30-plus years ago.
He was employed by General Motors – Truck & Bus for 30-plus years as a Head of the Line Foreman before retiring.
Paul was a member of the Imlay City Eagles and the American Legion. He enjoyed cooking, carpentry work, and traveling to the Upper Peninsula. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He is survived by his children, Jeremy Boleau (April), Aaron Tarnaski (Jackie), and Bethany Tarnaski (Mike); and his grandchildren, Shelby
Martha Rose, Ethan, Isabell, Hannah, Ronald, Devon, Savanna, Finn and special love, Kristina.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Boleau and Esther (Arn) Swanson; daughter, Rebecca Boleau; stepson, Matthew Juopperi; brother, Ruben Boleau; and his sisters, Carol Stine and Sharon Rintimaki.
The funeral service was held Monday, October 24, 2022 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI.
Arrangements for Paul’s service and cremation were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
