Jean Hudson, age 77, of Imlay City, MI died unexpectedly Sunday, October 16, 2022, at home in Imlay City. Jean Marie Lickley was born October 12, 1945 in Lapeer, MI. She was the daughter of the late Jason and the late Norma (Barnes) Lickley. Jean grew up and lived her most of her life in the Imlay City area. She was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1963. Jean continued her education at Baker College and Saginaw Business College and earned her Bachelor of Business Administration.

She was employed and retired from Lapeer Community Elementary Schools as a Para Pro. Early in Jean’s career she was employed as a secretary and sales clerk for Jas Steel, South Cedar Welding, and Mid States Bolt.

Jean was a member of North Goodland Baptist Church. She was a member of a knitting group, Romeo Quilting Guild “Tied Together,” and a Boy Scout Leader trainer.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Frick of Flint, MI; daughter-in-law, Heidi (Edward) Frisch; sisters, Doreen Hodges of Valdez and Carol (Richard) Mobley of Anchorage, AK; and her grandchildren, Kayla Frick, Jason (Lorin) Frick, Amber Graham, Cory Frick, Caitlin (Adam) Stine, Krystal (Ben) Kackley, Edward (Kasi) Frisch, III, Megan Frisch and Noah Frisch; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents, Jason and Norma Lickley; and her son, Philip Jason Frick.

The funeral service was held Friday, October 21, 2022 at North Goodland Baptist Church, 3080 N. Van Dyke Road, Imlay City, MI. Pastor John Chippewa, of North Goodland Baptist Church, officiated.

Arrangements for Jean’s funeral service and cremation were entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.
