TOWNSHIP OF MUSSEY
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Please take notice that the Mussey Township Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Mussey Township Fire Dept. located at 550 W. Mill Street, Capac, Michigan.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive comment from residents, property owners, and the general public regarding a proposed amendment to Ordinance #19 – Property Division Ordinance. The purpose of this is to amend the Ordinance to modify Article 8, section A – Standards for Review shall read: “All resulting parcels created by a division, excluding the remainder of the parent parcel if over 10 acres, shall comply with Township Zoning Ordinance requirements for minimum lot area, width, frontage, and width to depth ratio.”
A copy of the full text of the proposed amendment may be examined or obtained at the Mussey Township Office at 135 N. Main Street during regularly posted office hours. Comments regarding the proposed text amendment will be received at the Public Hearing and may also be made in writing to the Mussey Township Planning Commission at P. O. Box 118, Capac, MI 48014. Written comments will be received until the close of business on October 25, 2022.
