All libraries in Lapeer County now have copies of the 2022 State-Wide Non-Partisan Voter Guide produced by the League of Women Voters of Michigan. Copies may also be available at municipal offices, governmental departments, non-profit organizations and some businesses while supplies last.

The guides include interviews with candidates for Governor/Lt. Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, U.S. House of Representatives, Michigan Supreme Court, Michigan Court of Appeals, State Board of Education, Trustees/Regents/Governors of U of M, MSU and Wayne State Universities as well as information on the 3 state-wide ballot proposals. Any information not available at press time, may be found at Vote411.org if the candidate has responded.

Voters should look to local newspapers over the next several weeks for information on candidates for Michigan Senate, Michigan House, county offices, city/village/township offices, school boards as well as any local proposals. Because of redistricting in Michigan, voters should check out what is on their ballot at the Michigan Voter Information Center, (mvic.sos.state.mi.us).

The League of Women Voters encourages electors to be aware of what is on the November ballot and plan to vote based on information.
