CAPAC — Capac put up a good fight, only to drop a 12-25, 28-26, 28-26, 13-25, 4-15 verdict to visiting Ubly in a Greater Thumb Conference volleyball confrontation last Thursday.
Annabelle Schneider (20), Julia Schaefer (14), Neveah Mason (nine), Skielar Tesnow, Bella Wetter and Kenadee Malloy (five each), Gracie Klink, Sam Killingbeck and Cathy Williamson (three apiece), Rachael Mirling and Madalyn Roberson (two each), Anna Klein (one) provided Capac’s digs.
A group consisting Schaefer (five), Killingbeck (two) aklong with Roberson and Mirling (one apiece) contributed Capac’s ace serves.
Schaefer handled the bulk of Capac’s playmaking responsibilities. She wound up with 21 set assists.
Capac also received kills from Klink (nine), Killingbeck (eight), Williamson and Roberson (five each), Schaefer (two) and Mirling (one).
