BOARD MEETING SYNOPSIS
September 12, 2022
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Supervisor Winn. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Members present: Parks, Klos, Winn, Christian & Wittstock. August minutes approved. Treasurer’s report approved. Planning Commission: audience questions about possible purchase of A & B Trucking still pending, 2 splits approved and 2 other splits tabled. Fire report: Hartway turned in run reports for July/Aug and answered questions; their open house will be 10/16. Senior report: regular activities attended (every Tuesday). Park report: Farm Market continues every Wednesday at the park (need farmers and vendors of homemade items – $5 donation for 10 X 10 space) and Halloween Party will be 10/16 (1-4 p.m.). Discussed: purchase/installation of security cameras, culvert replacement on Gilbert Road, 2nd application of chloride, ditching projects on Schultz/Tubspring/Sperry Roads, striping of parking lot and township paying for a bond issue on the sewer system. Audience: ditching issue on Capac Road will be looked into. Motion to pay the bills approved and motion to adjourn 8:50 p.m. A complete copy of the non-approved latest meeting minutes is available at the township hall during business hours AND visible on the website within a week of the board meeting.
