Marilyn Jean (Bade) Callcut, age 64, recently of Lapeer, MI died Thursday, August 25, 2022 in Lapeer, MI. Marilyn Jean Bade was born November 15, 1957 in Almont, MI. She was the daughter of the late Donald Franklin and the late Virginia (Matthews) Bade. Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Imlay City; she had recently moved to Lapeer.
Marilyn was a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1975. She had studied phlebotomy and nursing for a few years at community college. She was employed by the Tietz Family Restaurant in Imlay City as a waitress for more than 20 years.
She is survived by her sons, Todd Callcut of Lapeer, MI, Kyle Callcut of Lapeer, MI, and Robert Howay of Danville, IL; step-children, Shane (Ann) Callcut of Fayetteville, AR, Shelley Callcut Baxter of Owosso, MI, and Sharon Callcut of Lapeer; her sister, Carolyn Peters of Fraser, MI; granddaughters, Kesley Garrett and Elizabeth Howay and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Virginia Bade; her brothers, Bob (Sally) Bade and Arden Bade; her sisters, Sue (Lyle) McCann and Barbara Bade (an infant); and first husband, Robert Howay, Sr. and second husband Allen Callcut.
The funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main St., Imlay City, MI.
The family will be available for visiting hours from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, September 1 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main St., Imlay City, MI. Burial of Marilyn’s cremated remains will be at Imlay Township Cemetery next to her parents and brothers and sisters.
