Martin “Marty” Robert Heldt, 60, of Dryden, MI left us for eternal life with Jesus on Friday, August 12, 2022. He bravely battled COPD for several years and is at peace in heaven.

He was born April 18, 1962 in Mt. Clemens, MI, the son of the late Robert L. and Barbara J. Heldt. He graduated from Dryden High School in 1980.
Marty loved the Lord and spent much of his free time studying and reading the Bible. He enjoyed discussing his faith with others, and depended on God daily. He was a wonderful father to son Robert Heldt and a proud grandfather to Marilyn Heldt. He loved organizing projects and enjoyed the beauty of nature at his boyhood home in Dryden, MI. He was a manufacturing engineer for General Motors Corporation at the Warren Technology Center in Warren, MI for 30 years, beginning as a contract computer numerical control (CNC) drafting designer out of high school.
