BOARD MEETING SYNOPSIS
August 8, 2022
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Supervisor Winn. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Members present: Parks, Klos, Winn, Christian & Wittstock. July minutes approved. Treasurer’s report approved. Planning Commission: audience questions about possible purchase of A & B Trucking property addressed and a split approved on Capac Road to add 11.8 acres to existing Semco Energy property for upgrades and better overall service for our residents. Fire report: nobody was present from the Fire Department and no run report turned in – Supervisor Winn will address issues brought up with David Hartway. Senior report: regular activities attended and pancake breakfast will be 9/6 (10 a.m. -noon). Park report: Farm Market continues every Wednesday at the park (need farmers and vendors of homemade items – $5 donation for 10 X 10 space) and kids’ craft day will be 8/16 (6-8 p.m.). Discussed: Fire Department issues, EZ Operations & Consulting, LLC will take over operations at lagoon, ditching approved, 2 bills ($25/$60) approved for payment, trees were removed at cemetery for safety concerns and we will receive $15,953 for parks next year. Audience: asphalt parking lot and walking track are almost done and the hill made from removed surface will be made into a sledding hill in the park.
