REGULAR MEETING
JULY 19, 2022
SYNOPSIS
President Schneider called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Councilmembers present were Aleck, Calka, Dyke, Glasser, Steffler and Schneider. Councilmember Feldman was absent. Staff members present were Village Manager David Trent and Clerk/Treasurer Kimberly Keesler, DPW Superintendent Bryan Treat, Village Attorney Brandon Fournier. No guests were present.
Approved the agenda; approved the consent agenda with corrections; approved the quote from Ultimate Asphalt for the installation for the salt shed in the amount of $11,000.00; approved to enter into closed session in accordance with Section 8(h) of the Michigan Open Meetings Act, being Public Act 267 of 1976, to consult with the Village attorney regarding a written legal opinion, Council entered into closed session at 8:06 p.m., Council returned from closed session at 8:23 p.m.; approved the settlement agreement as proposed by the Village attorney, as presented, between the IUOE and Village of Almont.
The meeting adjourned at 8:24 p.m.
