IMLAY TOWNSHIP
PUBLIC HEARING
The Imlay Township Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at the Township Hall at 682 North Fairgrounds. The public hearing is to consider the following request:
A set of proposed text amendments that would add the use “Mini-Warehousing or Storage Facility” to principal uses permitted in the B-2 General Business zoning district, the I-1 Light Industrial Zoning District, and the I-2 Heavy Industrial Zoning District and to uses allowed as special land uses in the EB Enterprise Business zoning district. The amendments would also allow “Mini-Warehousing or Storage Facility with outdoor storage” to uses allowed as special land uses in the I-1 Light Industrial Zoning District and the I-2 Heavy Industrial Zoning District. The amendments would also modify the Definition and Use Standards articles of the zoning ordinance to address these proposed new uses.

This meeting is open to the public. Anyone wishing to comment on any of these items but is unable to attend the meeting may send their comments to – Imlay Township Planning Commission, 682 North Fairgrounds Road Imlay City, MI 48444. A copy of the rezoning applications and text amendments are available at the Imlay Township Hall between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
