SYNOPSIS
President Schneider called the Regular Meeting to order at 7:31 p.m. Councilmembers present were Aleck, Calka, Dyke, Feldman, Glasser, Steffler and Schneider. Staff members present were Village Manager Trent, Clerk/Treasurer Keesler, Police Chief Martin, DPW Supervisor Treat and WWTP Superintendent Farley.
Approved the agenda; approved the consent agenda; approved the DDA’s 2021-2022 Fiscal Year End Budget Amendments; approved the invoice from Corby Enterprises in the amount of $37,830.00; approved the invoice from Ferguson Waterworks for the purpose of water meters in the amount of $6,521.81; approved to adopt the MDOT Category B Grant Application – Resolution #22-06-01; approved the Permanent Watermain and Appurtenance Easement Agreement for Construction and Maintenance; approved Resolution #22-06-02, Adopting Millage Rates and Garbage Collection Fees for the 2022-2023 Fiscal Year; approved Resolution #22-06-03, to Increase and Adjust the Water Rates of the Village, Effective July 1, 2022; approved Resolution #22-06-04, to Increase and Adjust the Sewer Rates of the Village, Effective July 1, 2022; approved Resolution #22-06-05, to Decrease the Sanitary Sewage Overflow (SSO) Rate, Effective July 1, 2022; approved to adopt Resolution # 22-06-06, Proposed Budget Fiscal Year 2022-2023; approved the Village of Almont/Township of Almont Agreement for Law Enforcement Services for July 1, 2022 through July 1, 2025; approved to ratify the 2022 POAM tentative agreement for three years as presented, contingent upon ratification by union membership.
