TRI-CITY AREA — Outrage 18U softball squad earned a first-place finish July 16-17 at the NSA Summer Showdown in Grand Blanc.

The team began their tournament run Saturday with a 10-0 win against Wild 18U.

Later that day, Outrage dropped a 7-6 verdict to Warriors Fastpitch 18U Bollinger.

Sunday’s action saw them bounce back with a 2-0 triumph against Michigan Chargers; a 10-3 win over Romeo Renegades 18U; and an 11-1 victory against Edge 18U.

Katie Witkowski, Kendall Roszczewski, Sarah Hall, Ashley Myers, Olivia Malcolm, Rachel Horecki, Jaya Forti, Brooke Schoenberg, Ava Wolfe and Rose Babicz made their top finish possible.

The team was coached by Joe Marrone and Tom Witkowski.
