BOARD MEETING SYNOPSIS
May 9, 2022
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Supervisor Winn. Pledge of Allegiance recited. Members present: Parks, Klos, Winn, Christian & Wittstock. May minutes approved. Treasurer’s report approved. Planning Commission: questions about split combination answered. Fire report given by David Hartway: responded to 17 runs last month; monies approved for open house, purchase of “jaws of life”, Fire Depot invoice and $20 flat rate for runs over 2 hours. $500 fine will be assessed for illegal burns after one written warning. Senior report: regular activities attended; July potluck will be “music jamboree”. Park report: Country Garage Sale this weekend and Farm Market continues every Wednesday at the park (need farmers and vendors of homemade items – $5 donation for 10 X 10 space). Discussed: Fire Department issues, Assessor contract approved, 2nd distribution of ARPA funds coming soon, parking lot & walking track should be blacktopped soon, color-coded absentee ballot applications being mailed soon for residents on the permanent list and fee schedule approved. Audience: question about new voter cards answered – they are informational cards for voters. Motion to pay the bills made and accepted.
