On-site meals being served in Capac and Imlay City
TRI-CITY AREA — Now that the school year has come to a close, area districts have announced their plans for summer food service programs.
In Capac, free breakfast and lunch is being served now through July 7 at the Jr.-Sr. High School cafeteria. Breakfast is available between 8-9 a.m. and lunch is served between 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. daily.
Meals must be eaten on site. The program is open to youth age 18 and under, or 26 and under if they have special needs.
Due to the Independence Day holiday, no meals will be served on July 4.

In Imlay City, free meals will be made available three days a week—Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays—between June 21 and July 28. A full week of meals will be served the week of August 1-5 at the Imlay City Middle School, located at 495 W. First St. The meal schedule aligns with summer school and other on-campus programming.
Breakfast will be available from 7:45 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The meal program is open to children from the community who are 18 years of age and under or persons up to age 26 who are enrolled in an educational program for the mentally or physically disabled. All meals must be consumed on site.
Adults are welcome to purchase meals. Cost is $2.75 for breakfast and $4.65 for lunch.
