IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City Downtown Development Authority kicks off its 2022 Summer Concert Series at Lamb-Steele Park on Tuesday, June 7, with a 7-8:30 p.m. performance by “Acoustic Ash.”
Before the concert, residents and visitors are invited to stop by the DDA’s Evening Farmers Market, which runs from 3-8 p.m. at the corner of Third and Main streets.
Acoustic Ash
Originally from England, Ash currently makes her home in Michigan, where she has cultivated a growing and faithful fan base.
A social activist, Ash is said to possess “Motown’s activism but without the doom and gloom.”
While her vocals have been described as smoky, soulful and expressive, her lyrics cry out for social diversity and the hope that one day we will all be treated as equals.
Fans say that Acoustic Ash makes music that inspires, moves and motivates, while leaving her listeners truly satisfied and wanting more.
