Leona Brogdon, 76, of Dryden passed away Friday, April 22, 2022 at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital. She was born June 7, 1945 in Mt. Clemens, the daughter of Albert and Lenora (Schuldt) Witt. She married Mike Brogdon on April 12, 1991 after they met through an ad in the newspaper and they were together for 36 years. She was a cosmetology instructor and a nanny for executives in the Detroit area.
Leona enjoyed traveling with Mike attending auto races across the country. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and one great-grandson.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Jade Oleene Morin and Logan Wayne Hicks; great-grandson, Ryder Xavier Beam; and one sister, Marion Ahrens. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Shelley Morin; and two brothers, Alvin and Leonard Witt.
Visitation was held Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home in Almont.
