CAPAC — Capac beat visiting Greater Thumb Conference East rival Memphis, 6-4 and 14-5, on Monday.
In the opener, Capac managed five hits en route to a win.
Gavin Ruegsegger (a single and a double) paced Capac’s offensive attack. He was given assistance in the hitting department by Derek Mason (a double) plus Tim Bochatyn and Langmesser (a single each).
Jared Fahley and Zach Langmesser shared the pitching responsibilities for Capac. They allowed four total hits, struck out seven and walked seven.
In the second contest, Capac collected four hits.
Ruegsegger (a single and a home run) paced Capac. He was backed by Jose Rodriguez and Mason (a single apiece).
With the results, Capac now stands at 6-11 overall.
