How cool would it be if PNC leased for a nominal sum their soon-to-be empty bank building in Almont to the USPS for use as the Almont Post office?
Our postal clerks would no longer have to trundle carts of mail between buildings through a frequently snowy and icy alley. It would relieve congestion at the dangerous four corners. No more sketchy air conditioning that leaves customers and employees sweltering in mid-summer. Space for all those packages! Safe, abundant parking for carriers and customers! Maybe even a drive-through window!
Oh, PNC, make it happen!
