IMLAY CITY — Organizers are gearing up for the Imlay City Chamber of Commerce’s annual auction set to take place on Saturday, May 7.
Castle Creek Golf Club is where the auction action will unfold with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the auction starting at 6 p.m.
“The event is open to the public and there’s no charge for admission,” said Interim Chamber Director Christiana Bishop.
“Proceeds will go towards some of the events for the 2022 Imlay City Summer Fest.”
Local businesses and individuals have already donated many unique items that are sure to catch bidders’ eyes. Among them are a 20 foot inflatable theater projector screen; a cordless tool set; liquor and wine baskets; a security camera system; a Taste of Imlay City basket and much more. Additional donations are still being accepted.
Helping sell the items up for grabs will be Brian Rowley and Rowley’s Auction Service.
Bishop said a 50/50 raffle is also planned and guests can enjoy food and a cash bar.
