The Ruth Hughes Library would like to sincerely thank Security Credit Union for participating in our recent program for children, Smart Money Kids Read.
This program ran from April 16 through April 21 and the resources included in the take-home kit helped promote savings accounts for children, along with simple math skills for children to learn.
Because of the credit union’s willingness to step alongside the library, we were able to provide thirty kits to children in our community to help promote a love of reading and a knowledge of being smart with money.
From the entire staff at the Ruth Hughes Library, thank you for your collaboration.
