
Imlay City’s Sydney Livingston clears the pole vault bar in a meet with Lapeer this past Friday.
IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City girls’ track team registered a 63.5-54.5 triumph against host Lapeer in a non-league battle last Friday.
Mary Lengemann, high jump (5 feet) and 200 dash (30.43 seconds); Hannah Hayes, 100-meter dash, 15.58 seconds; Sydney Livingston, 300 hurdles, 59.86 seconds; along with Jenna Denver, 800 (3:00.28) and 1600-meter (6:16.71) runs; paced Imlay City with individual event wins.
The Imlay City 800 (Sydney Livingston, Ana Lengemann, Ang Ross and Mary Lengemann) and 3200 (Ana Lengemann, Elizabeth Sliman, Ross and Denver) relays also prevailed. They were timed in 2:08.97 and 11:13.7, respectively.
Lily Lengemann, high jump, 4 feet 8 inches; Livingston, pole vault (6 feet 6 inches) and 100 hurdles (19.69 seconds); Riley Parent, 100-meter dash, 15.76 seconds; and Ross, 800 run, 3:07.44; collected Imlay City’s seconds.
Rayana Slack, discus, 49 feet 7 inches; Dezeray Tanis, 100-meter dash, 15.88 seconds; plus Charlotte O’Brien, 800 (3:10.09) and 1600 (6:53.59) runs gave Imlay City outright thirds.
Alexa Lengemann, high jump, 4 feet 4 inches; added a two-way tie for third to Imlay City’s cause.
