IMLAY CITY — The Imlay City girls’ track squad obtained nine top-ten placings last Thursday at the SVSU Indoor Invitational for Div. 2 teams.

No team scores were kept at the meet.

Mary Lengemann, high jump, 4 feet 10 inches, a three-way tie for fourth; Sydney Livingston, pole vault, 7 feet, a five-way tie for fifth; and Alice Johnson, 3200 run, 14:00.65; sixth; led Imlay City that day.

Elizabeth Sliman, 800-meter run, 2:42.13; gave Imlay City an outright individual event seventh.

The 2400 relay of Ana Lengemann, Ang Ross, Jenna Denver and Sliman were seventh as well. They were timed in 7:43.91.

Lily Lengemann, high jump, 4 feet 8 inches; provided Imlay City with a five-way tie for a seventh.

Mary Lengemann, 400-meter dash, 1:04.26; and Denver, 800 run, 2:43.61; contributed eighths for Imlay City.

Denver, 1600-meter run, 6:10.07; wound up with a 10th for Imlay City.

The 1200 relay of Ana Lengemann, Sliman and Livingston were 11th in 3:14.28.

Mary Lengemann, 200-meter dash, 28.67 seconds; furnished Imlay City with a 12th.

Livingston, 400 dash, 1:08.15; two-way tie for 16th; Sarah Lauwers, 60-meter hurdles, 12.06 seconds, 19th; Johnson, 1600 run, 6:40.41, 26th; Charlotte O’Brien, 1600-meter run, 6:41.72, 27th; and Riley Parent, 29th, 11 feet 10 inches; 29th; provided Imlay City with top-30 placings as well.
