In a recent speech to the Democratic National Committee, Vice President Harris touted the accomplishments of the administration saying that they should be proud and now they have to sell it to the American public. I am wondering what exactly they are selling. Is it record breaking inflation? Is it gasoline prices that have skyrocketed with no end in sight? Is it shortages of consumer goods because of supply chain bottlenecks? Is it that our country has gone from a net energy exporter to a net energy importer? Is it record crime in the major cities in our country? Is it “woke Democratic prosecutors” that will not prosecute criminals while castigating the police? Is it a border policy that is permitting incursions by illegals at the rate of two million per year? Is it the cocaine and fentanyl that enters the country through the open southern border killing thousands of citizens? Is it rogue leaders of totalitarian nations acting without fear of consequences from the United States? Is it schools throughout the country asserting that parents have no rights when it comes to the education of their children? Is it a Center for Disease Control (CDC) that puts out nonsensical messages that are often contradicted by new ones a few days later?
If these are some of the things Vice President Harris infers need to be sold to the public, count me out. I’m not buying.
