Do you have some spare time on your hands? Enjoy doing things for or with youth?
Lapeer County 4-H, a youth development organization working with youth ages 5-19 is a great place for you to share your knowledge, offer a helping hand or advice. You could be part of a committee that helps plan summer camp programs or our annual spring auction. Be a judge for the kids sharing their talents through projects they have made or help at a hands-on workshop with arts, crafts, science or STEM projects.
The amount of time you have to offer whether it is for a few hours, a day or on a regular basis could make a huge impact on a youth’s life as well as your own.
