The Port Huron Elks Lodge 343 Past Exalted Rulers (PER) Educational Assistance Program applications are now available.
The PER $500 scholarship is available to local graduating high school seniors, who will be attending college and/or a trade school from our area.
Students are not obligated to use this solely on classroom expenses. It is meant to alleviate financial burdens of attending any vocational school, college or university which they have chosen to attend. The awarded funds are made available through the Past Exalted Rulers business account. Applications can be requested electronically by emailing your request to bpoe343@comcast.net and we will respond as soon as possible.
One question asked within the application is, “Do you have a family member who is a member in good standing of Port Huron Elks Lodge #343?”
We ask students to list any extracurricular activities, groups, or organizations. We also ask the students to list any type community service and/or volunteerism they have performed over the last 4 years.
The deadline for submitting the scholarship application is Monday, May 9, 2022, close of business.
