Bethany Joy Calka, age 32, passed away on February 10, 2022. She was born December 25, 1989, the daughter of Bernard B. Calka and Kristin Kay Rohrbeck in Mt. Clemens. She graduated from Almont High School in 2008. She worked at Kroger as a fuel lead and regional training leader. Bethany became a member of the Almont Lions Club just over a year ago. She quickly became an active member finding an extended family full of compassion and giving hearts. She also liked Pokemon, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She touched many lives through work and volunteering and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her beloved parents Bernard (Jackie) Calka of Almont, Kristin Rohrbeck of Almont; loving brother, Benjamin (Dayna Akers) Calka of Almont; and grandparents, Richard and Valeta Rohrbeck of Bruce Twp.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bernard and Beatrice Calka.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 3-8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Hossler of the Orchards Community Church in Bruce Twp. Burial will be private at Bruce Armada Cemetery.
