IMLAY CITY — Imlay City edged host Armada, 55-53, in a Blue Water Area Conference varsity boys’ basketball meeting last Friday night.
With the decision, Imlay City moves to 8-5 and 5-2. Armada slips to 7-6 and 3-5.
In Friday’s meeting, Armada took an 11-10 edge after one quarter was complete.
The next two quarters saw Imlay City generate 31 total points and Armada net 22, good for a 41-33 lead with 24 minutes gone.
Armada then outscored Imlay City 20-14 the rest of the way, only to drop a 55-53 verdict.
For Imlay City, Grady Nash led the way with 14 points. Dominic Ljuljdjuraj (12 points), Andrew Badder (10), Beau Hund (nine), Holden Redd (six) and Zander Nash (four) also reached the scoring column.
