Margarito Rosas Jr., 90, of Capac, MI passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

He was born on October 2, 1931 in Lawton, OK to Margarito Rosas Sr. and Delfina Hinojosa.

JR retired from General Motors-Fisher Body in 1988. He spent his retirement doing all the things he loved the most. He loved spending time with his family, playing cards, dominoes, listening to music and countless hours on word search puzzles. He was a jack of all trades and master of many. He loved tinkering in his garage, creating things with wood and working in his vegetable garden. He cut his grass in the summer and plowed his driveway in the winter. He was a proud 8th grade graduate of Lockbridge Country School in Capac, MI.

He is survived by his sister, Virginia Huntley of Lapeer. Also survived by his seven children, Frances (Jorge) Leon of Capac, Michael (Margie) of Capac, Ernestena Rosas Cadena of Capac, Abel (Maria) of Goodells, Yolanda Rosas of Plymouth, Raul (Chrisa) of Davison and Rudy Rosas of Livonia. He had 16 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and six-great great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Micaela; and brothers, Manuel and Ismael Rosas.

A funeral Mass was held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Capac, MI. Burial was in Capac Cemetery.
