Francis Edward Knee, age 73, passed away at the McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital on January 21, 2022. Frank was born on June 6, 1948, son of Samuel (deceased) and Jane (Simmers) Knee (deceased). Beloved husband of Cheryl Knee (deceased). Dear father of Colleen Knee. Admired brother of Marlene Reed (deceased). Loving uncle of Shawn (Sheila) Roy and Candice (Brandon) Cook. Cherished great-uncle of Erin Roy and Hailey Reed-Mecham.
Frank was a resident of Almont, MI for 30 years. He graduated from Hazel Park High School in 1967. Frank served our country in the U.S. Army from March 1968 to November 1969. For many years, he was an over the road truck driver that took him all over the United States. His favorites were rebuilding cars, hot rods, and attending car shows.
The funeral was held on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial followed at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, MI.
